- All BU users with ACS accounts can have matching AD accounts. They will need to run webnew.
To run webnew: http://www.bu.edu/computing/accounts/ad/sed
For some users, we need to pre-approve them here: http://www.bu.edu/computing/accounts/ad/sed/useradm
Active Directory Groups

- AD groups are filed in the SED/SED-Groups OU. Some groups are grouped under sub OUs.

- It will ask you for your adm username and password.
- It should come up with an image.
- After installation, the machine will be named ENG-RIS-** and reside in ENG/Other/ENG-RIS
- Move it to the right SED OU and reboot the machine. This will allow the GPO torun to allow you to administer the machine with your ADM username and password. After that you can change the administrator password.
