CMS
WordPress is the CMS we now use on the new site. Go to sed/wp-admin to edit the site.
It has some features that are very useful:
- It stores previous versions of a page, so you can't screw it up.
- It allows you to drag and drop items in the navigation outline.
Users
We will devine levels of users who can edit or administer the system.
Image Standards
Faculty and Staff Portraits
Faculty and staff portraits MUST be named loginname.jpg, where Hardin Coleman would be hardin.jpg, and Linda Rhodes lcrsed.jpg. This will allow us to easily automate things at a later date.
News Items
Use lower case, and stick with jpgs.
HTML Standards
For headings use H3 through H6. H2 and H1 are used by the theme.
